Color. COLOUR!
I like colors. I think they’re just great. But sometimes I want more of them, as was the case in this picture. The “Hue/saturation” tool in Photoshop is a good friend of mine.
Something about adjusting the colors of an image makes me feel like a spoiled brat. I feel as if I am ungrateful or unappreciative of natural color. But then I see something like this and remember how much I truly do appreciate the hues and saturations of real life:
As much as I love fixing the colors to make them just right, I also love when they are already perfect, as was the case here. Apart from the color of this image, it’s not a very good photo at all. I just feel the need to share this as an example of something that has completely pure and unadulterated vibrancy all of its own. It is things like this, things that God breathed so much beauty into, that make me feel like my eyes can’t withstand it. I think Heaven will be ultra colorful.
