Pinhole: The “End of Summer” Batch
This collection represents my favorites from the most recent pinhole roll I shot. I just cannot seem to get out of this pinhole mood and I do not think I soon will.

This is my friend, Eldridge. It is an ongoing struggle for me when trying to frame visually pleasing compositions using my pinhole camera.

I decided to join Eldridge on the bench, setting the camera near the water, pressing the shutter, and quickly taking a seat next to him. But the exposure makes it look like the ghost of me decided to join him on the bench. The levels, contrast, brightness, and saturation were manipulated a great deal in Photoshop to make this photo appear moderately decent.

Eldridge insisted we go to the reservoir. It was okay because it’s one of both of our favorite places.

I’m not a fan of sushi. I am a fan of “culinary photography”.
I love how the chopsticks turned out.

I wanted to take a picture of my friend, Katie. However, the waitress was oblivious to the fact that there was a camera in the process of taking a picture. She set down a glass of water right in front of it. You can just barely see the outlines of the glass taking up about two thirds of the picture starting from the left side.

This exposure of ducks swimming in a pond was not very steady. I don’t know about you, but I like it just fine that way.

My mother came to visit me this summer in SoCal. Here she is sitting on the beach at Huntington.
